How to use this tool & FAQs

Cut an audio clip with smooth edges

Use the audio cutter to keep a phrase, make a short practice clip or trim a recording. Start and end times are entered in seconds. A short fade helps avoid an abrupt opening or ending.

  1. Upload your audio and enter the start and end times.
  2. Choose a fade length appropriate for the clip.
  3. Listen to the cut and export a 16-bit or 24-bit WAV.

For a ringtone, pick a recognizable short phrase and listen to both edges before sharing the file.

Does cutting change the original file?

No. The tool creates a downloadable edit. Your original file remains on your device.

Get a better result

Make a karaoke backing track

Open Vocal Remover and choose a stereo song. Choose Fast AI and preview 10 seconds. Quality AI provides a slower alternative for difficult mixes. Listen to the instrumental before processing the full recording. Complex mixes may still contain vocal traces or artifacts. Basic stereo mode is faster, but can also reduce centered instruments. Open Karaoke Studio with the result and use headphones while recording.

Cut a ringtone with smooth edges

Open Audio Cutter, enter the start and end times in seconds, then add a short fade. Listen to the exported WAV to check the opening and ending. Volume & Fades gives separate fade-in and fade-out controls.

Practice a difficult phrase

Choose Practice Room, mark the phrase, and slow the playback. Loop it while practising your voice or instrument. Use tap tempo to check the beat and Live Tuner for one steady note at a time.
